DuoDeus Game

DuoDeus is a 2D local multiplayer music game in which two deities cooperate to create their own universe by composing music.

Jumping, collecting and connecting stars: the players need to help each other fill the void with shapes, sounds, colours and reach further distances. Every choice and every action the two deities make will have an influence on the outcome, and only by communicating with each other will they manage to create a harmonious universe.

Whether you are a skilled musician, or whether you haven’t had any interaction with this creative process before, DuoDeus will allow you and your friend to experiment and compose your very own piece of music!

Instructions: 

You can now play the game both by using gamepad(s) or a mouse and keyboard (or even a combination of all)! The yellow character is controlled by the person who uses the mouse or, if using gamepads, presses any button on their gamepad first, while the second character, blue, is controlled by the second person using the keyboard or their gamepad.

Player 1 -----------------------------------------

Your mission is to help Player 2 collect the Squares! Use:

Indicate a dot - LEFT STICK / MOUSE MOVEMENT
Select the desired dot - press CROSS (PlayStation) / A (Xbox) / RIGHT CLICK (Mouse)

Player 2 -----------------------------------------

Your mission is to help Player 1 reach further dots, by collecting Squares! Use:

Run - LEFT STICK / A & D or LEFT & RIGHT ARROWS (Keyboard)
Jump - press CROSS (PlayStation) / A (Xbox) / SPACE (Keyboard)
Bounce - hold CROSS (PlayStation) / A (Xbox) / SPACE (Keyboard)
Cancel Active Sound Layers - hold RIGHT TRIGGER (when collecting item) / E (Keyboard)

Together, you will be creating your own universe and composing music!

Tips: In game, press 'R' to restart the game, 'ESC' to quit the application, and 'T' to replay the tutorial!
